Farenheit’s "Hit 'Em" Featuring Sean Paul & Jigzagula Now On iTunes

Jamaican dancehall soul singer Farenheit released his latest single "Hit 'Em" featuring Sean Paul and Jigzagula on iTunes on May 20, 2008. Produced by Grammy-nominated producer and remixer Josh One of Nappy Roots fame, "Hit 'Em" is an old fashioned jeep-beat that marries dancehall melodies to a hip-hop drum track.

"Hit 'Em" features Sean Paul as Farenheit’s partner in crime and introduces Sean’s brother and co-writer Jigzagula, producing a sure fire club and radio hit.

Jigzagula had this to say, "It was a great experience working on "Hit 'Em" with Farenheit and Sean Paul, we always have great chemistry on stage and on tour. We write lyrics and come up with all kinda chat that becomes our new slang. So it was nice to see an actual recording come out of all the vibes we've built up together throughout the years. Not to mention it’s the first track where I've actually written and performed my own verse, opening up a world of possibilities and ideas for myself as an artist."

Alright guys, I apologize for not doing much with the site the last month or so. Can't really remember how long it's been but anyway I hope that by June I'll get a chance to really focus on things here and if we're lucky Sean will have the new album out by then. In the meantime work has kept me really busy because of prom and Mother's Day so I haven't gotten around to putting a new video up but I'll see if I can get one uploaded by the end of May. Thanks again for sticking around!

Lefside aka Mr. Evil teams up with Sean Paul

Entertainer Lefside aka Dr. Evil once honed his craft as turntable selector for Sean Paul when the international toaster first hit the road earlier in his career. It came as no surprise when Lefside teamed up with Sean to record the female anthem Back it Up . ‘When I got my record deal with Sequence Records, Sean had suggested that we do a song for my album. Having Sean Paul endorse my single is a real blessing’, Lefside said in a recent interview.

The video for Back it Up was shot last week. It was directed by Kimala Bennett. Bennett has been making a name for herself on the music video circuit having helmed clips including Blaze by D’Angel; Over and Over by Tami Chynn; and You and Me Against the World by Cherine Anderson.
